See the Eater’s Highlights:

  • This post focuses on the Truffle Tasting Menu. My reviews on the Innovations-Inspiration Menu, and the Signature Menu are also available.
  • Forbes Travel Five Star Award, AAA Five Diamond Award, two Michelin stars.
  • Dining at the Chef’s Table (maximum of six guests) was a great opportunity to watch all the action in the kitchen and allowed us to receive individualized attention from the talented head chef, Mathieu Chartron.
  • Excellent wine pairing for every course.
  • The truffle menu is generally only available in the winter months, call the restaurant to inquire.
  • Located in the Caesar’s Palace Hotel.

The Details:

I have dined at Guy Savoy in Las Vegas four times to this date. This post features my second visit. I apologize for the lack in quality photos compared to my normal standard. I did not have my food pornography camera on me for this meal.

Frankly, I was not amazed when I dined at Guy Savoy the first time. Perhaps it was because I ordered by a la carte. However, I am glad I gave it another chance and had a (one of many) birthday dinner at Guy Savoy.

Once you sit down, you are given one of each to enjoy before you begin to peruse the menu (in this case, I didn’t look at the menu…I just wanted the truffle menu!). Out of the four times I have been to Guy Savoy, these items remained consistent. Cute and delicious!

Very well execution, including the side dish. The side dish included couscous, which I normally dislike, but this one was surprisingly appetizing to me.

The egg (middle back photo) was cracked in front of us to reveal a special sauce that paired well with the caviar and wine.

Rich and creamy mixed well with the truffle flavor. This was the part when Chef Mathieu asked, “Do you want French style or Italian style?” Without knowing the difference, we picked French style and that^ is how he shaved truffle for us ladies.

Have you seen a bubble burst, revealing a hen? This was a succulent dish with a great presentation. This was a discontinued dish and was made special for my party.

These small desserts usually come on a dessert cart that the waiters push out at the end of your meal. Since we were a relatively large part, we just had an assortment given to us to sample.

Overall this was a memorable dinner, with great service from both the staff and Chef Mathieu. Every dish was paired with a delicious wine. So far this restaurant has done the best job of wine pairing in my opinion. If you love truffle, you’ll love this meal. It’s not cheap but it’s entertainment, food, and pleasure at once!
