THE GRILL AT MEADOWOOD, Napa Valley – Amazing English Peas Salad for Lunch

Dining Date: May 26, 2013

Dining Occasion: Lunch

See the Eater’s Highlights: The Grill uses the freshest ingredients grown at the Meadowood farm. I recommend The Grill for breakfast and lunch. Most diners here are resort guests, particularly families. The restaurant overlooks the golf course and is very relaxing (unfortunately I do not have photos of the environment). There is also an outdoor seating area. I want to note that I do not like peas, but I actually had the best English pea salad at The Grill.

The Details:

Sauces, jams, and butter for the bread.

The butter and jams were light tasting and went well with the bread. You can also see in the background of the photo a sense of the outdoor seating area.

The olive oil was delicious, although the bread could have been better in my opinion.

These peas are delicious! It was a small bowl for a side. The peas were crunchy and paired well with the feta. This was thrilling to me because I personally hate peas!

Maine Lobster Club, but I do not remember what the soup on the side was.

The flat bread was very filling, but was overall light and healthy tasting.
